He is a
monster Mr. president. Animals might
kill to eat , animals might kill to defend their existence , animals might kill
to defend their territories, did you see an animal kill just to satisfy his
instincts ? did you see an animal kill a member of his own community just to
keep itself in charge ?
You heard about the chemical attack in Khan
Shaykhun, just to let you know ,it is not the last one. After 12 hours of the
American strike on Shairat warplane base there was another usage of chlorine in
one of the neighborhoods in Damascus. You might be heard about Ghouta massacre
in 2013 , you might be received some information and reports that OPCW received information about over 300 attacks by chemical weapons , my
organization verified over 180 of them.
You might be
heard of the Caesar photos of over 11k Syrians tortured to death in the prisons
of the " animal ", you might be heard that over 1 million Syrians are
living besieged.
Did you hear
about Madya ? let me tell about Madaya .
It is a small
town 25 miles to the west of Damascus . on the bottom of one of the mountains
40k people live in the town living on their agriculture and some other income
from the thousands of tourists who come to enjoy the lovely whether in the town
every year.
The town is
too close to the boarder of Lebanon where on the other side of the boarder
Biqaa valley is controlled by hozballah , a terrorist group supported by Iran
and the animal.
The "animal"
sold the city to Iran and hozballah , Hozballh fighters seized the area and
tightened the siege around the city since 2 years.
At least 85
people died from the siege within 6 months of besiegement. 64 of them died from
malnutrition and others died awaiting their medicines.
Let me tell
about a dentistry student there called Mohammad Darwish.
Mohamad
treated thousands of patients and made dozens of surgeries, taking the
instructions from some physicians who offered help through skype , most of
those doctors are Syrian American citizens , knew about Darwish and tried to
help him. 2 of those doctors were stuck in another area in Syria, and they were
giving instruction to Darwish from their operation room in Idlep or Aleppo.
He is the
only doctor in the city, all others left before the siege was tightened by
hozballah, he decided to stay and help his people.
I am a
dentist too, I was not brave enough to stay in my hometown Douma and left in
2014 when the animal tightened the siege against my city, I smuggled through
mines and snipers and walked for 20 miles before arriving to a place where a
car can pick me up away from the snipers eyes to a road monitored by
helicopters. We were bombed twice by helicopters and fortunately the bomb
missed us. Darwish decided to stay instead of taking the same risk, and he
preferred to take the risk of dying from starvation, and the honor to serve his
people.
We were
following up on daily basis with him for any consultation he might need, he was
sometimes shy to ask, and we were always shy that we are safe and he is saving
lives there.
On the
morning when the middle east waked up to hear that the president of the most
powerful state on the planet said that Assad is an animal , Darwish and some
other 3000 people were evacuated out of the town of Madaya , and hozballah
fighters seized the city completely . Ethnic cleansing is the strategy of the "animal"
as he couldn’t close the mouths seeking dignity and freedom. Over 500k Syrians
were forced to leave their home towns within the last year after months or
years of starving them, depriving them from their basic needs like health
services including the basics such as vaccinations and baby milk, till they
surrender.
Darwish
called the morning of the evacuation and said to me: Pray for us , you who
stood with us when everyone left us .
Over 780
health workers were killed in Syria during last 6 years, no one care . I
completely understand that no one can bring those 780 to life, but we can
release those in the "animal " prisons, we can protect those who are
still in their hospitals challenging death, we can bring Darwish back to Madaya
after making him has the graduation and the education that he deserve . All
of this won't happen as long the 'animal' is free
